I've lurked long enough and decided I'd do my first post now.
This was taken mid-August. Partially geared. This was taken just last week. Stopped by to say hello to someone and they snapped a photo and sneakily sent it to my email. I'm glad they did. |

Thanks!! Bought in June, apparently he's been owned by only female riders. And exactly what I was looking for. I'm too in love.

my hubby surprised me with this yellow ninja for my birtday back in April, Been enjoying the summer exploring New England with him. Almost hit 1500 miles for my first riding season on my own bike!
I still take the DR out for a few rides, going to try and do some more dirt road riding next year on the Suzuki but I just love my little Ninja!! |

@ally99 Awesome! I'd have gone for black too.
How are you enjoying your new baby? Do you have plans to make him/her just street, just track or both? Also: out of curiosity (assuming it's new), do you plan on following the factory recommended break in method for this bike? -Akima |

Hey Akima. White was my first choice, but they were out of them and I hate the 2014 white. I got this one with 2 miles on the ODO for $4600 walk-out price! Score! I'm going to order a pink Ninja sticker for each side and pink rim tape.
I'm not against tracking her, but for now she's street only until I can get my way to a track again. I've done a good bit of reading and though I'm not taking her for redline for a bit, I'm riding her moderately. I've heard pros and cons of taking the break-in too easy and the pistons not seating right.

Floki you are indeed correct. Its a gsxr exhaust. And yes...my neighbors love me ;-).
The wheels are aftermarket, Valentino Rossi replicas, powdercoated. |

they fixed all the issues the existed for the 250 on the track. they fixed the kick stand mount, the gear shifter and clutch, they fixed the carbs. the higher mount exaust looks like its got more clearance too. i was surprised by that little thing. i'm going to buy one soon. i'll let ally give you the nitty gritty but from what i see, the 300 is the bike to take to the track, not the 250.

the transmission is much smoother, the external shift arms seem much more stable and locking in a gear seems much stiffer than the 250's poor little rounded paws. the self-servo clutch means you can easily one finger the lever all day and the slipper means you don't ever worry about the rear sliding from a downshift. i would equate the 300 shifter to a well maintained bolt action gun, where the 250 shifter is closer to a chinese ripoff BB gun or airsoft replica
