Dunno, never had my 250 on the tarmac at Mid-O. I am thinking somewhere the low to mid 1:50's but that is just a best guess.

edit: should I get new tires? I have a shinko advance 005 on the rear 80% tread and a michelin pilot power on the front with 20%. Maybe a really sticky new front tire that will wear out around the same time as my hard shinko does in the rear? I know mixing tires isn't the most ideal thing

Replace the front at least. Again csmith12 is more info on this than I am.

On the Gixxer? Yea, your gunna need a front. Grab up a set of Q2's. They are good until the top pack of the A group.

You will not pass tech with a 20% tire, simple as that. And $250 for a set of tires is a steal. But I tell you what, I got some Q2 take offs you can have. Bring a $20 spot for the tire changes.

Thanks guys. Yeah finally having a bigger house and garage will be nice it's just unfortunate that the timing is off. Literally two days ago I told my fiancee I'm going to come to this track day for the day until I saw the date in the title. I'm sure I'll catch some rides with you this year Chris and hopefully csmith can get around this way for a meet up or something. Maybe plan a weekend or something in the Hocking area or somewhere similar but we'll keep any of those plans contained in the group ride section so this doesn't get congested. And there better be a lot of pics from the trackday even though it's still quite a ways out.
