St. Louis Ride of the Century

hey guys, was there this year

at 7:20 you can see me and my little blue 250 close the the camera

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gW3Q-EsuKCs

was a blast, didnt personally see a lot of stunting outside a couple wheelies, endos, and burn outs

the cops were cool for the most part and would hold up traffic for us

but many the hate we got from cagers on the news sites is crazy, comments people were leaving about hoping we wrecked or how they wanted to run us off the road were crazy....why do people hate bikers so much?

i guess the media didnt really help either, they labeled the entire ride like EVERYONE was a stunt rider and we were doing wheelies at 120 through heavy traffic...

anyway it was a blast, sad to see this was the last one

What was the purpose of the ride? Looked like fun (or a crash in the making).

no purpose really, the local stunt group has done it every year for the last 10 years.... originally it was mainly all stunters and they would go out on the highway and do stunts and stuff

it has since just grown to a huge gathering of riders (mainly sport bike)

there were still some stunt groups but the majority of people taking part were just your normal riders
