First Race Weekend :)

So i just did my first races ever and it was an absolute blast! I cant believe that i waited so long to do this! I ran the Ninja Ready to Race series with Team Promotion at NCBike this past weekend. I was the only 250 on the grid with 16 other 300s. I think i did fair for being my first time and for being on the under powered bike. I achieved one of my goals and was a tenth of a second off my other goal. I finished 9th out of 17 with a fastest lap of 1:41.15 i wanted to do a 40 but hey there is always next time.

I will be picking up a 300 this off season for sure though!!

Yea yea haha.

I never realized how crazy turn one is on the first lap... so many people everywhere! First race i was very timid in the group going into turn 1, second race i was in it haha i knew i had to get around people as soon as possible cause their straight line speed is crazy compared to the 250. The BRZ CDI really helped cut down on the top speed difference big time.

The green flag drops and it's a drag race to turn 1 while 3 wide at tip in..... ahhhhh such fun!

I swear Schweber has nitrous off the start, I got the launch of my life and he still pulled that much by t1

I said the same thing to Shwebby. His bike has some crazy power. I watched all the races and even when Matt got an amazing jump on everyone at the start, Shweb somehow came out on top. There was a dyno there this weekend. Someone should have had Shweb's bike on it. haha

David, you were rollin that 250 really good man. I already told ya I followed for a couple laps and you were pulling away in a few sections. Good stuff man. That will be really beneficial when you hop on a 300.

Ben, Congrats on meeting and beating all your goals this year brother. Pretty stoked for ya!

Thanks man! I should have stopped and talked to you coming right off the track instead of asking you later but was in a hurry to get loaded back up for the drive home. Thanks for the warm and fuzzy feeling
