Why did you lower it so much? How do you like your exhaust?

Judging by the stickers on the tail. I would render a guess it's for a specific female friend.

The exhaust its nice, I like the way it sounds and i only drop the front 2in and the rear 1in so dont think its that bad plus i took it for a ride and handles pretty good.

So you lowered it for cosmetic reasons only?

haha 2011 I was like oooooh modding thread! ohhhh...

anyhow, looks good! Is that rear tire a bias-ply or a radial? It's not good to mix, that's the only reason I ask

Typically it's better to lower the same amount both front and rear... it helps with handling... so if it were me I would either lower the rear another inch... or better yet... raise the front an inch to improve handling. Good start so far though

True.

You're backwards.

Raising the front or lowering the tail makes the bike slower to turn in.

Raising the tail or lowering the front makes the forks closer to vertical with the ground, and makes the bike turn-in quicker.

low tail + high nose = stable. High tail + low nose = quick turn-in.

@choneofakind, I was telling him to make it the same aspect as stock... he didn't lower it evenly... right now he lowered his front 1" more than he lowered his rear... therefor causing "quick turn-in". For a newer rider it would be more beneficial for it to be set as the stock "rake".

Well I finally got back to my place which is about 10m from the New Orleans Airport and came to find out the power never went off, from what my neighbor told me. Well I had to leave because in St Charles parish where I live got Mandatory Evacuation so we decided to go stay with my in laws in Kenner (Jefferson Parish) and on Tuesday night we lost power at my in laws and probably wont have any until tomorrow. Well thank god no one was hurt and no flooding. At this point we still have rain but the most important thing is that we have power at my place. The heat was a killer we did not get any sleep at all for the past two nights but we made it thorough. We are now inviting my in laws to come over for dinner and watch my saints play the Titans tonight.

Anyways well yes guys I will be lowering the back one more inch to make it even front and back but thanks for all the comments....
