XT GPX Pro
Has anyone wired in a GPX Pro on their 08+ 250's yet?
I currently have mine wired up for my Triumph 675 tracking: Gear Position RPM MPH Brake Pressure Throttle Position G's Planned on wiring up to sense fuel level and coolant temp but I'm going to sell the 675. Would like it on the 250 though.

Someone else had asked about it over here, but I haven't seen any completed installs on a 250.

This thing sounds great.
Are you supposed to read it while on the track or analyze data when you're done?

Not 100% sure but I believe Zombiphone and a few other CVMA racers have these. I want to get one too but I'm too lazy and cheap but mostly cheap. LOL

Tiff has it wired to the battery I think that's it.
I had it hooked to my r6 for a while. I was tracking everything I could. But I wasn't putting the data in any good use really. lol. Mostly it worked great but I had it go nuts a few times. It wouldn't complete the laps and show a very different line then I rode on (it drew through corners and ****) so lap times were skewed too. I sold it to get a infrared timer, beacon and 2 track day tickets haha. They are accurate, they are simple, they are smaller. I just prefer them more. Never had any problem with putting the beacon on the hot pit wall. I usually get on hot pit. The guys who work there give me a wtf look. I raise the beacon up in the air to show them what I'm doing. They give me the "ahh ok" look and I put it up there. That's it. |

I really hope this isn't the case.
Tiff you need to put that beauty to work otherwise what's the point of getting it? Personally, I think this data tool is very useful to the advance not so much to the mediocre.

And that's what the beacon laptimer will do for ya but XT GPX Pro is kinda overkill IMHO for the mediocre/novice. And I in no means am directing this to Tiff. But quite the opposite which is why I'm saying she should put this to use to help her advance.

I'd sell you my underwear for $500 and I couldn't care less what you did with them.

A friend of mine uses one of the BT-Q1000's its nice, but I get more out of my GPX Pro, and have dropped seconds off my best times by reviewing the data.
IE, changed braking points, what gear I've been in, watched my throttle position to then force myself to stay on the gas longer. You cant get all that from speed and position alone.
