I have been with a few motorcycle riders that got a ticket for it. Keep in mind tho every single one was doing something to make the cop mad like wheelie or speeding a lot or smarting off to the cop.

Yep, they don't see an extra set of lights and stop to check up. Around my parts they are starting to get educated on it. I think they enforce it more in my area because it's NOT really rare to see a race prepped bike on the road with lights/signals temporally mounted.

Heck, they check tires sometimes too. No slicks on the public roads ya know. We all laughed our arses off when a cop tried to argue that my buddies bald rear tire was a race slick.

Sometimes you just know it's time to get a new tire hahahaha

around here they won't bother unless it's between the hours of 11:30PM and 3AM, they like saving fix-it tickets for excuses to pull over suspected drunk drivers without having to say that the person is drunk when they do so.

I've never heard of anyone being stopped just for having integrated taillights; it might not be something that police officers in your state can use as a reason to pull you over.

Ah, yes. The perks of living in a state without inspections!!!

I would say, as long as you are not the type of rider that gets themself a lot of attention, then you should be ok.

However, seeing that you are in PA, you might want to try some alternatives...my experience in PA is the only way you can get away with something is if you are somebody or know somebody.
