Miami: What to do and where to eat?

I'll be in Miami for work this coming week and was wondering if any locals could recommend some places to eat and some things to do while I'm there.

Should be free after 1-2 pm when I get out of training. I figure we would be doing a lot of eating mostly.

There is so much I don't know where to start.

Miami Beach;

Joe's Stone Crab
Mac's Club Deuce

Miami River;

Garcia's Fish Market (and Restaurant)

Little Haiti;
Chef Creole

Little Havana;

Versailles

These are some of my favorites and they are affordable. There are many high end places if that's what you're looking for. Let me know.

My wife got sent to South Beach for a few months for work and her company was kind enough to send me out there a few times, all expenses paid. She fell in love with a Peruvian restaurant walking distance from her condo. Chalan on the Beach. We've been searching Los Angeles for a similar restaurant but nobody comes close. I can't recommend this place enough.

Recommend a few and I'll hit up a couple the last couple of nights we are there.

Joe's stone crab looks good. I miss catching and eating stone claws. I use crab back when I was younger with my father and then took over after he passed. As fresh as it gets.

Nice! I didn't even think of Peruvian cuisines. I'll definitely check it out
