What was Master Cheif's original group of other Spartans called? One decal with some color would be cool.

What color is your exhaust? Maybe a flat black? You gotta get that modern industrial look going on.

Yea....taped it off sprayed it with flat black engine enamel and baked it on. Ill let ya know how well it holds up

So far the engine enamel has baked on well and shows no sign if flaking. Going to clean and put on a second coat tomorrow. Here a new pic of the helmet. So far traffic lights have become photo shoots lol. "Hey bad ass helmet (shutter noise)"

It's probably the forum software that ignores the orientation flag from some phones. The picture was probably fine on his end.

Samsung phones in particular. I suspect that most phones do lossless JPEG rotation but Samsung uses the stupid flag that hardly any Android apps even support properly.

Yea my phone doesnt orientate photos properly....after multiple times trying different ways I just gave up and said screw it they get the point lol

Thanks! Im trying to find another place on the bike to put the double leds. Any ideas? Ive got two pairs of red and two more pairs of amber. I also still need to put leds in the helmet. Btw off topic sort of.....I made a video for my job that sponsored the st lucie mud jam that briefly shows the bike and helmet. Check it out:

2 minutes into that video, I knew I was gonna watch the whole thing. 2 reasons. First, that coal rollin dodge is an animal. Second, I waswaiting to see if you included "I can't see my paintjob" in the song list

Well I have not done anything to the bike so theres no update on that. I havent worked on it much due to my chain was BEYOND stretched so I had to replace that plus my clutch cable snapped a couple days ago. Its been ordered should be here by tuesday. Clutchless starts and shifting is oooo so fun as it IS my daily driver. But I do have updates on the helmet! New additions are paint, better wear and tear, foam pads for depth, the front mouth vents and 4 10mm led lights.

Thanks! Visibility is perfect. Its still the stock vis save the up view now that there is a visor above. Blocks the high sun very well I might add. Ive grown so attatched to it and its functionality that I dont even like riding without it.

Nice work man, if I ever remember i'll show you my helmet I was in mid progress before losing interest and stopping all together.

I like the LED lights on the side, should I ever pick the project up again I will definitely consult you on where to buy.

Ahhh.....I c...well its been raining everyday for 2 weeks down here and its my daily driver....so rainy rides is the norm as of late. So far ive been lucky....no mess lol we'll see

Finally got around to snapping some photos.

I admit it looks like crap, that's why I lost my momentum with building it. Needs lots of spot putty and needs to be wet sanded over-and-over again. I easily see another 10-20 hours of sanding, puttying, possibly bondo, and prime + paint. left. Not sure if it will ever be finished

I forget, my visor gap has closed in more, but I had a piece of wood holding it apart for a while. I forget the weight, but I used card stock, whatever the recommended amount was from the pepakura site.
