does it have a place for spools to be attached? if so just screw them in with some red loctite and tighten...

if not go to pitbulls website and their their spool attachments for non-spooled bikes. go to a shop and get them welded on and you are done.

i would think the washer goes in between the bolt and the spool. You really can't hurt the bike by having a washer between the bolt and spool and a washer between the spool and bike.

I found it worked better if I installed them like this for the left side:

bolt - spool - spacer/washer - bike

and vice versa for the right, so that the included spacers were between the spool and the bike. The lip they put on the spool was just a tidbit too small to make it over the swing arm. Also, I'd definitely do a test-fit before aplying the loc-tite, just to make sure you're happy with the fit, etc...Ask me how I know

The spacer is to help it clear the lip between the end of the spool bung (threaded part on the bike) and the swingarm itself. If you just try screwing them in yourself I think you'll see what I mean. I wound up just test fitting with and without the spacer, going with the fit I liked. Just make sure you do the same for both sides. Here's a couple pics from my right side spool to show ya what it looks like without spacers. And yes, I know I need to wash the bike :-p

How did you order your stand and spools? Is there a certain size and you just ordered them by size? Or are they specific to the bike?
I found the stand at pitbull for $140 something....that's the standard/spool combo stand.

That's one of the best stands you can get.. a good choice. Now you need 10mm spools. As far as fitment of the spools, here's a thread for ya... http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=21722

I also recommend stands by T-Rex. Got a set (front triple-tree and rear spool stands) for about $160 total.

There's several threads around with opinions, etc for these and other, less expensive stands.
