I personally won't used it. I had a buddy who used that in a car and the motor blew a short time after he put that in. Was it the oil's fault, i'm not sure, but not going to chance it. I think it's really pricy too. I always use Mobile-1 for my bike. It's full syn, and its $9.99 a qt. Plus it has a picture of a sport bike on it!!!!! So it has to be good, rite??

Actually I believe Mobil 1 was sued one time because of its claim to be "100%" synthetic. It is in fact a synthetic oil but it is NOT a full synthetic.

Here's another if you like pictures of sportbikes on the bottle...

I have used Royal Purple motor oil and did not experience any problems.

Gee it even has a picture of a bike on the bottle.

Here is a link to their site so you can read up on it.

My Kawi dealer (multi brand actually) is loaded with Spectro. Have been for 20+ years. Its their "house" oil for service as well. Works well, but I saw a review somewhere that put it (conventional) down toward the bottom of the list.

I have used normal Royal Purple - not CycleMax - with no problems - I could not find anyone nearby with MaxCycle in stock, so I made some calls. I called Royal Purple and talked directly to the Tech. Dept. and was told that the original RP was not wet clutch compatible, but all of the recent formulas are in fact wet clutch compatible. I asked, "Are you 100% sure?" and he replied, "Hell yes I am."

Side note, I was thinking about changing over to Mobil 1 since I thought it might be easier to see the oil change colors between changes, and I have a Mobil 1 decal that would look good on the screen?

Hey, the one I use has a picture of a bike too!
Adds about 20 mph on the top end and runs like a scalded dog!
Great reviews too!
