Flipped the grips around to fit my hand better and swapped my faded levers for new shiny ones from @LittleRedNinjette. Her bike is slowly being shipped across country to me. ROFL

It's a GoCruise from http://www.2wheelride.com/ (they've since redesigned it and changed the material).

I *love* it! Simple to engage and disengage, out of the way, and holds very well. I use it a lot out on the open highways.

After like a month of not having a rear brake, I got a one-man bleeder and fixed that issue today. B)

Tomorrow I change out the clutch plates.

not really the bike but it directly affects riding, I actually wiped off my helmet visor today for the first time in months... WOW what a difference! All those bug guts and dirt and dust. It's like a new visor

Added a throttle position sensor using a rotary potentiometer, badge lanyard, modeling software and a 3D printer, data inputted to my GPX Pro. Suspension potentiometers are next.

Bought a pot and made my own housing, had a lanyard badge thing laying around. Cheap solution for something that cost way too much, especially the factory suspensions pots.

You should have gotten a throttle lock by Go Cruise. It's a whole lot better design.

Gasket still not shipped.
Had to ride my bike in half-fared like a hobo today. Discovered that my brake light does not work

Also my coworker asked me to ride a 636 home for him and I said yes.
Still don't know why, I've never ridden another bike in my life but his new baby isn't getting itself home soooooooooo

wish me luck

specs say the seat height is 32" and I'm hoping because it's a 2002 the seat ergos might be more like the old ninjettes.

maybe I won't have to stop ever.

I will just live on the bike in constant motion, too bad for my coworker

worst comes to absolute worse maybe I can bum a barfer for help. Right now I'm the only rider this guy knows.

At least he asked a licensed rider to help. My dumb 18-y/o self asked an unlicensed rider to help get my first bike home from an hour away because he was the only rider that I knew

Maybe you'll have fun on that supersport eh?

incidentally, his dad won't go get it for him because he doesn't have a license even though it was the dad's idea to get the 636 after my coworker was looking at 250s and 500s. >.<

I hope I don't drop it is the main thing. I can't imagine I can get in too much trouble. If I can ride a 250 like a grandma, I'll never be doing this thing justice.
It's in SF which also makes me nervous. I wouldn't ride Zero in the city. And now I'm riding someone else's bike I've never ridden before. I imagine I'll stall it, too.

Pulled the chain cover and shift lever and completely cleaned them up and lubricate all shafts connected to shifting and now it is all smooth and easy shifting again.
I had replaced the stock bolt with some 8mm x 12mm roller bearings and M8 bolt to reduce the sloppiness the shifter had, the only thing i forgot to do was use some waterproof grease or lube so it started getting gummed up and hard to shift.

- TST Clear Integrated tail light, FE, LP Light (Install was SUPER easy)

- TST Shorty Levers ( Again, super easy install)

- Carbon Fiber Tank Pad ( this took the longest and aggravated me the most)

- My G/F's(Green SE, SHADOWFAX) and mine(Ebony, XERXES) in day care w/ R6 and F4i

Have TST rear spools on both, just no pictures. Got a rear stand yesterday, so a chain clean & lube are in their near futures. Probably give them a bath at the same time. A clean bike is a happy bike!

First bikes for both of us and we absolutely love them! All I really want to do to it now is add a slip-on. And of course ride, ride, ride. SO damn hot in Florida right now, so most of our riding is done at night. Can't wait until fall and winter to go riding.

Finally got some rearsets on. They should add quite a bit of possible lean angle. No more grinding down the footpegs...at least not for a while.

Can't wait for my next race weekend.

Chinese ignition lock does not work. Poorly put together and the internal contacts suck. Also solder layout is wrong. I can't tell if the resistor is soldered in circuit or if they forgot it and soldered in a jumper wire. I emailed the seller and I'm waiting for a response.

My new round headlight has yet to arrive and the seller has yet to respond :/ I was able to contact Capital One bank since the bought out HSBC bank and got the information i need to get a lien release to obtain a title on the bike frame.

A local rider said he has a speedometer cable I can try out in a 42 in length from a Yamaha. Going to see if it works.
