Pringles can. Not perfect, but that's how my parents ship my care packages when I'm at school.

For that suggestion, I deserve at least a few.

Well since you asked, no, that pic isn't great either. You're completely missing the point of this thread. The reason it's coming up on 2600 posts is that many of them are fun pics of women riders from this site. Real women who can actually ride a motorcycle. Posting up pin-up shots isn't the worst thing in the world, but it really doesn't add much to this thread, and isn't particularly interesting.

@Finesse get you some body panel push pins from an aoutparts store for you wind screen, i have seen em crack and break with only 2 screws in em like yours. they cost like 2$ good cheap fix, most places will let you try em out to find the right size.

Haha I have the screws they just don't fit with the windscreen bent which is bent because the fairing is cracked and blah blah anyway it needs to pass inspection on wednesday so I'm just going to glue the screws in because they won't actually go into the fairing...tehehe

I really just need a new fairing but I dont have $175 lying around so if it cracks and breaks we'll just go naked lol. well.. just the bike. hah

Where do your feet hang? On the front peg? Back peg? I was worried about finding my leg resting on the exhaust.

My head looks awkward there, but my back protector is propped against the tail bag and my head is supported nicely. When I did that for real, I had my rain jacket as a pillow on the tail bag too. Surprisingly comfortable.

"grab bar..." :looks: Oh! Pregen! Ok, totally can see that, those designs were a lot easier to do stuff on. The tail of the newgen isn't good for much besides looks.

Looking good RedPepper - I like the graphics on the bike too. I've been wanting to do a tack day for years on the 250, but now I have the 300 it will be a while before I know it well enough to want to take it to the track.

Hopefully one day I'll get there

Very few things trump the feeling of spending a day at the track. I'm counting down for my track day on the 30th and already trying to budget for more days next year. It's pure, unadultered ecstasy.

@RedPepper64 ... you look... awesome!

Is tracking expensive out where you are? (excluding the cost of repairs when the seemingly inevitable happens).

Thanks! I keep looking at the photos from the day and reviewing where I could improve body position. I'm hoping to get some better shots at the next one.

I don't think it's expensive per se for the track days themselves, more so everything involved, especially since my husband and I both do them. Usually $200/day each and that's 5x 30 minute sessions at The Ridge. We plan to cut costs by camping overnight at the track itself and are going to try to get more weekend track days next year. All three this year will have been on Mondays meaning taking two vacation days, $400 for the track, about $100 in gas to & from, and then 30 hours of babysitting for our two kiddos. It adds up quickly! Next year we are driving down to Utah and thinking about trying to coordinate a Miller track day.
