Hello, not really but i guess i have to think of one. My friends and family keep refering to it as "Green lantern", "Turtle" or "Riddler" because it is a full color candy lime green. Now I am thinking about it and I will announce it in my introduction. Thanks for the question.

Vanilla Ninja is her name
Or just "the Ninja", "two-fiddy", "moto-cyclo", "scooter".
Vanilla came about because of the crap-tastic clear coat, and it rolls nicely off the tongue. The R-6 is named "Red Rocket". The YZ is just the Yamaha, or The Dirt Bike. Strange it doesn't have a name, because it had the most personality of them all being a 2 smoke, and I have had that one the longest of all. |

I call my 250R "Widowmaker". It's only a 1/4 liter bike, but this motorcycle is just as dangerous as any other motorcycles when accidents happen.

You seem pretty insistent on calling it "250exe Ninja" in your posts, signature, bike list etc, so I thought you'd like to know: Kawasaki calls it different things in different places/years (Ninja 250, Ninja 250R, GPX 250, etc), but the model has always been EX250 and I don't think it has ever been called "EXE." The "EX" line from Kawasaki is 2-cylinder while the ZX line is 4 cylinder. Your bike is an EX250 or, to be more specific, an EX250F. The 1986/1987 version was EX250E. I've seen Ninja 250 parts listed as "250ex" before but they are confusing it with an ATV or a completely different bike from another manufacturer when they do that. Enjoy your EX250F Ninja 250. |

The day after I picked up my bike, my internet was out for two whole days (WHY do we tolerate this in the First World??). The owners manual is still somewhere in Oregon. So after having spent two days learning how NOT to change the low beam bulb (I'll let you guess I how went about it..), I was on my way back from the Kawi shop for the third time, this time in my cage because I was too frustrated and ticked off to ride my Honda anymore, when it came to me: "Sheldon". He's incredibly...bright. And he's a royal pain in the butt, but with a definite childlike quality that makes you absolutely love him anyway!

Glad you asked about name of bike.
Not yet. Waiting for an intuition to guide, for the name to appear. Only had 250J about a month. Tempted to name based on that endearing mourning dove sound which emits from the fuel tank at random intervals. BTW: Is that whimsical sound necessary? I do like that it screams, and sounds louder than it is. Haven't decided a gender yet. We're having some fun so far though. Here's a list of my previous bikes' names. First bike: '89 pearlescent white EX-500- "Pearl" Next: 1972 CB500K/later, put in a 550 motor "BES"(Sumerian Lord of Partying) 1982 CX500C- Black with short bars, black two into one pipe IN TWO INCH HIGH VINYL LETTERS ON EACH SIDE OF THE TANK, all honda labels removed from bike "MOLTO GUSTO" (roughly, Italian for 'a lot of flavor') People would come up and say, "yeah a buddy of mine had one of those Italian bikes too." 1981 metallic silver and blue CX500C- "Ace Of Pentacles" 1972 Kwakasaki S-2 350 triple-"Red Resonant Serpent" 1980CX500D red iron oxide primer with distressed gold leaf and clear coat"Gilded Turd" 1998 red F-650 BMW "Red Sonja" O.K. I showed you mine. Now, you show me yours! |

I have not named my bike yet but I tend to call smaller motorcycles "Ponies" and motorcycle dealers "Pony Stalls". I will come up with a name for her soon.
