Will this iphone mount fit?

Looking at this generic iphone motorcycle mount for my '09 Ninja. Does anybody know if it will fit in the little space next to the handlebars?

Looks like it would fit but personally I wouldn't trust a Chinese made $3 piece of plastic to hold on to your $400 phone at 50mph.
Also the amount of times they use the term "bicycle" in the ad makes me believe this was designed with bicycles in mind.

I have seen ppl who use this mount crash (low sides/slow speed rearends) the phone does not move.

I personally don't have one, but I do plan to get one this winter.

@iZapp Can you add anything to this? I think I remember you mounting a phone to Zach's race bike.

How do you have it mounted?
How well does it hold up when the bike goes down?

Thank you sir and see you guys at the track!

I just got that RamMount for my 300, and so far I love it. My Galaxy S4 stays right where it's supposed to, even with the horrible roads of New Orleans. Mine is mounted on the left handle bar which puts it where I can see it/power it but not in the way of any controls or gauges. I'll take pics tonight when I get home if you want.

Keep in mind that you have threaded lugs for mirrors which are useful for phone and GPS mounting.

I'm pretty trusting when it comes to certain cheap Chinese parts. But when it comes to securing my GPS/iPhone to the bike.......I wouldn't want to risk it. RAM Mounts FTW

is a RAM mount, you will need a few pieces but they are worth the money.

On handle bar you can do this setup:

or This:

I personally used this setup this mount:

here is how it looks:

I like it because I only use it for long distance or trips, other than the phone is hidden in my pocket

hopefully that helps

Didn't realize you asked for more info.

HERE is my post from another thread regarding my RAM mount (included are links to what I bought). It attaches just beside the choke switch. There's probably a little plastic cap on top of the hole you place the mount. If you remove that cap, you'll see a threaded hole (as you can see, I'm very mechanical) just asking for a bolt. IMO, it's the perfect spot for a GPS mount.

Thanks for the link. So I will need 1) X-grip 2) double socket arm 3) 1" ball mount bolt. Anybody recommend a good source to buy these pieces for a good price?? EDIT Looks like I can get all 3 on Amazon for about $42 shipped.

Which size double socket arm will I need if I want my phone tucked in the windshield area?

I have the iphone mount the OP asks about. I had to reposition the brake 1cm to make it fit, I also haven't had any problems op to speeds of 150 km/hr

yes, it works but make sure you put it on securely and the way it should, some people misput the phone and then blame the chinese products not being of good quality, you can buy this for $3 or a rammount for about $80 (that's what I bought, cuz I need their waterproof case)

What I use is a bit pricy because its a mount / case but its amazing its the Lifeproof iphone case and mount its around 80-90 bux for the case and 30-40 for the mount but the end result is a phone on your bike that is completely weather proof.
