That show rocked. The rest will be on next Sunday night, then the final show on the following Monday. If you missed it, you missed it.

Saw it all already on Uk TV stations. Its worth watching. Lucky for me Ireland has a healthy road racing scene and they can and do close roads. Some of the guys racing the Isle of Man TT take part in most of these road races.

This one is just a few minutes from my home (Skerries 100), look how close the crowd is to the track/road

The difference between these races, is the TT is against the clock but this is an out and out race, so even more fun.

I bought a book by a photographer called "Hard Roads" Its, 120 odd pages of pictures and info about these guys and all the races. I think there incredible as most of these guys have real jobs and do this just for fun. In any other country it would be "too dangerous", but we get away with it here.

There is another race near me in September, my camera gear and I is likely to be going

Yes 130+ mph average speed through villages and towns.
In 1935 the lap record was 80 mph average on a Rudge Ulster 500cc single, rigid rear frame girder forks single sided single leading shoe front brake and tyres that were very poor by today’s standard. These guys deserve a lot of respect.

It's a shame the E1pc blew a motor at the first checkpoint. I think team Motoczysz would have significantly bested the other TTXGP teams otherwise.

Great show! Really enjoyed it last night. I thought some of the HD footage was the best I've seen yet of the TT. DVR is set to record the next two episodes as well...

Alex, I had a guy here today putting in a new AC unit for the upstairs. He was looking at the bikes in the garage and told me he rode a Harley and just passed a BMW, that he got from his father, down to his son. I thought that was a nice story and wanted to share it with you in case you had a son who might, some day, deserve a free BMW from his dad. Maybe a helmet that fits too.

The little meathead is growing into that helmet faster than we'd ever expect. With any luck, I can keep the BMW in serviceable condition long enough for that transfer to happen. Though for some reason those classic BMW's have styling that looks good decades later, and I'm not so sure many of today's models will have the same staying power...

saw a R90/S getting gassed up. The orange sunburst - timeless look with the quarter fairing.

I could give a link to some previous movies, if it is not against the rules.

It's being replayed a bunch of times the rest of this week on that channel, if folks get DiscoveryHD.

seems to be eastern time (at least for the feed we get in Hawaii, as it's on at 3pm HST). Thanks for the heads up.

Isle of Man TT on Discovery HD right NOW

This is the most amazing motorcycle video you'll ever see, and in HD too.

This is the last great true road race... No guardrails, blasting through real towns at 160+ mph.

Classic European road racing in the grand tradition.

Absolutely incredible.

Tune in.
