Wheelie on little Ninja?

Just wondering, has anyone ever popped a wheelie on these Ninjas? I think it would be difficult to. I've never done one and not planning to.

Yes! not very easy (for me at least) and totally scared the crap out of me but a blast all the same! I think I had about 8k showing on the tach and was coasting about 5 mph when I got her up.

Yes, and successfully, ............ while the engine resisted.

Yes it can be done but it's kinda pathetic since it just drops back down. I can do way better wheelie on the Grom!

As others have said and a referenced thread says several times. Yes the ninja can wheelie, quite easily but it is a little hard on the clutch of the bike because you do have to drop the clutch at around 10k.

If you are deep enough in the throttle and high enough in the revs you could easily loop the ninja (do a wheelie and flip the bike)

Yep, ninjas can do them. I did one on accident with my first little crash. That was an interesting experience. I felt like I was on a bull getting bucked, like you see in those rodeo's.

I've gotten the front wheel off the ground without even trying to, but I wouldn't call it a wheelie, wasn't big enough.

Kawasaki did an excellent job of making the 250 a safe beginner bike. It's very forgiving and as I implied before hard to wheelie accidentally or intentionally. It's not a dig at anyone to say the 250 can only do pathetic wheelies...

If you consider a 10k clutch drop an easy way to wheelie a motorcycle you need to get out and ride other motorcycles...

It isn't exactly hard to do, pretty simple really. Hmm pull in clutch, rev bike with fairly deep throttle dump clutch..... how is this hard?

If you think this is hard perhaps you should try riding some other motorcycles

Of course you can

2nd gear, around 20mph give or take, 2 finger dump (quick snap) the clutch while on the throttle a bit. First time you do it start in the lower rpm range so you can get a feel for it. Just pop the tire up. Especially if you haven't wheelied anything before. Practice and be patient with yourself or you will definitely flip the bike. After a while you can wheelie these things easy and stabilize for longer runs. I haven't been successful at upshifting my 250 into 3rd in a wheelie yet though. All my 250 dirt bikes I can run thru the gears easily. Practice practice practice! Oh, and never panic. Keep your toe over the rear brake and a gentle tap will bring ya back down.

I was never a stunt person, but I tried it a little bit yesterday. I noticed that the front wheel would pop up after dumping the clutch around 7-8k, I haven't found the balance point yet since I'm new to this on the 250. Having a nearly empty fuel tank helps as well as trying to put you weight back. Wheelies are easier on 600's & 1000's. I can power wheelie on a Fizzer 1000.

I will try a few more times, but I'm gonna save the wheelies for a klx140. I don't wanna ruin the clutch on my 250 and blow my fork seals. I still gotta track this bikeand buy my Race Suit.

To compare, I need to rev my zx6r up to 8k or more to wheelie too. Unless im wot, then it'll pick up the front tire for the first three gears.

I've never done a wheelie in my life before, except on my Trek bike , so I'm not going to risk dropping my ninja. Plus, I promised my wife and to myself that I'm not going to be stunting.

Every race start..... Not much though, it slows things down too much if it lifts too high.

on a 300 you pop the wheel off the ground a bit when you shift into second if you're doing it aggressively.

for both bikes (250/300) you can get it up with the clutch in 1st and 2nd without much issue though it's very difficult to learn how to wheelie on these bikes. If you're getting the front off the ground in any significant fashion you're either launching the bike or doing a clutch up. It is definitely not something that happens accidentally for us.

About an inch or two lets you know you got the job done. Then a little hop when you shift to 2nd.

You got me there, but it was around 5mph and wanted to see if I can lift the wheel. She knows and is fine with it. No worries, I promised I'll be a careful rider and I am.

I barely lifted it, but that's it. I don't know if you even consider that a wheelie.

My bike was never dropped or laid down and I plan on keeping it that way
