Hi Everyone,
I'm Krystle. Just passed the MSF course and got myself a 2004 ninja 250. I'm excited to get out and ride, though the hills of the bay area are a little daunting....

Hello and welcome. Just take it slow and easy and you will be fine. Finding a good riding group will help as well.

may I suggest Redwood Road in the east bay when you get a chance. it's nice and scenic, as well as not bad if you take it nice and easy

I commute to Berkeley. Maybe we'll pass each other on the street someday.

Welcome KChava,

As mentioned, Redwood Rd is a good start for our local back roads, if you are interested in twisty roads.

#1 rule, always ride within your limits, not someone elses.

#2 Get yourself good protection (gear). Always dress for the ride, regardless of where and or how far your ride is. You just never know when that moment will occur, so it's best to be prepared for it.

Get yourself acquainted with a good group of riders. Often times, there is an individual(s) who will take you under their wings and aid you to becoming a better rider.....along with having seat time.

Maybe we'll cross paths some time.

Mean while, Happy Riding
