I know it's the [ you ] tag but I keep seeing the thread subject and always think "I do wave!" so figured I'd respond.

I wave to everyone on two wheels and a motor. Most of the time though, I don't get a return wave.

Maybe because you don't have a bike?

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Today is the 1st time I've seen this thread.... I had a runin with di ks on Harleys, so now I don't wave to them as much. 50% now, but I would never diss a fellow brother on a 250....

If I'm on my FZ, I'll chase you down to say hello. If I didn't wave, I didn't see you. My bad

We're a brotherhood with our Ninjettes....

I also wave to every rider with a helmet on. Oddly enough, I get a lot of nods from Harleys. It takes me a second due to surprise, but I always nod back to them. Even got a nod from a motor cop several months ago.

I'll always wave back to anyone who waves to me, unless I'm busy and miss their wave, which happens.

Depends on where I am really, when in Toronto almost everyone waves. When riding in Puerto Rico, hardly anyone, unless its a matchy matchy-harley lifestyle-look at our matching vests-we dont ride unless in groups of 100 or more- type of situation, and even then I catch them off guard if I wave.

Why? It may be someone who can't ride on 2 but still wands to ride. You never know. Did you ever see that episode of counting cars when he makes the spider for the little guy? It was awsome.

There is a story about someone riding one off a cliff soon after purchase, think I heard it around here... It fell over, tipped, and possibly flipped.

I wave to everyone except those electric scooters with the pedals sticking out to the sides hugging the side of a main road (or in the middle), damn electrics.

Wait,
was this thread originally directed to me ? I'm confused .

I don't think that's how it works.

Think of how a motorcycle turns. Countersteer, wheels are now out from under the CG. CG falls, motorcycle turns to compensate. Geometry of bike + throttle input rights bike after turn is done.

Those things don't lean. If anything, your steering inputs would be just like a car. Turn the way you want to go. No countersteering.
