They had plenty of time to react. You can see in the peripheral vision that the car was starting to move. They target fixated on the car, most likely panicked, then hit it. Also, they seemed like they were going too fast.

The one on the left had plenty of time to swerve to the left.

The car's fault in this incident is greatly diminished by the speed those guys were traveling. Up a blind roller, gradual left turn where the median impedes vision, and excess speed don't mix.

either way, when a car pulls out, aiming towards the back of the car is a much safer bet than aiming towards the front. Even if the car had stopped when the guy started his drift right, he could have gone to the left around the car, there was plenty of room. The guy's not going to slam it in reverse in that split second, the only options are stop, or keep moving forward. the other guy, he was just effed from the start.

Aren't some expecting too much from cagers?

Cagers: Poor human creatures forced to transport themselves between points A and B inside those isolating bubbles.

Quoted for truth.

I just can't believe neither of them had the brains to slow down when it pulled out.

Defintely going too fast and they didn't even hit the brakes (hardly). If you watch the last clip where you see the dude hit the front of the car, he actually made the car spin from the force of the impact (excess speed).

It's obvious the cager had seen this video and was out to slow down this group of squids. Wouldn't you do the same?

Comments disabled probably because everyone was telling them they were wrong and all the squids united to say it was the cars fault. Those guys were going way too fast and it really looked like they could have avoided the car.

It's oblivious to anyone with half a brain that bunny hopping over the car would have been the best choice

Good find @Z300.

Looks like a very painful crash. Hope they're ok.

Isn't it a girl on the white bike? S/he has pretty eye lashes!

Definitely speeding you can see both bikes speedos right before the crash. The one on the right was doing either 88 or 89 2 seconds before impact. The one on the left was over 90 before the crash.

First: I liked the editing on that vid. The subject matter was a shame but the vid was great.

Second :

I second Choneofakind's Quote for truth. At that speed, I don't blame the car at all.

Third :

This remind me of story where a bike almost smashed into my friend's car doing like 70 in a residential area.( 25 mph speed limit ) My friend pulls up to a T where the road he's turning on to is curved so he can only see so far, but he says it sounded like the bike was far away. Then he turns and the bike comes out of nowhere, hits the brakes, almost hits the back of the car, and skids for like the next 100 feet or whatever. When he sees the guy is alright and didn't go down he pulls off. Doesn't even make the next traffic light before the guys comes up next to him screaming PULL OVER!!!!. My friend has to stop at the light, so the biker dismounts and starts punching the window (with reinforced knuckle riding gloves of course) screaming "YOU ALMOST KILLED ME!!!!" After a min of screaming at him the biker kicks the car, gets on the bike and pulls off giving my friend the finger. He must have been lucky cause the kick didn't leave any damage just a dirty foot print, but the window had a few scratches.
