Bought New Tires!
I bought some Pirelli's on Amazon. I was reading through the Ninja how to website and thought it be a good a idea to replace the bearings as well. Do you know of any good or reputable sites to order the bearings from? Or will a local store have the bearings? Maybe home depot or some hardware store? We do not have any motorcycle or motorcycle related stores where I live.

One of the more popular suppliers of bearings is All Balls - http://www.allballsracing.com/.
Spin the bearing inner race by hand and see how it feels. If the cycle doesn't have excessive miles on it, and the bearings feel smooth when turning, I personally would not replace them. |

Rule #1 - don't fix what is not broken (wear items not included). Do you know how to test the wheel bearings?

4500 miles? Bearings are fine. Find something else. They're sealed bearings. Unless you're driving through solvent, I doubt you have bearing problems yet. I recently pulled mine to get my wheels powdered, and after 24,000 miles of mostly dry riding, they're still silky. Seems kinda wasteful to replace them where I'm at even.

I took a look at them and they are very dusty. The wheels do make any noises when riding though.

The wheel bearings are sealed from the outside, except the one in the sprocket carrier. Lube that one manually with grease. Roll them with your fingers. Unless the bearing is crunchy or notchy, don't worry about dust.
They look like this. |

I think I will pay someone to install them for me but to teach me how to do it at the same time. A guy I know will do each tire for $40. This guy modifies bikes into Cafe racers for a living. I have seen his work. It's legit. Maybe he can teach me how to do mechanical work on bikes and even modify them.
