I actually know several folks who ride Urals and love them, though do mention there are problems.

Get it if you want to have something to fix every time you ride it. I was looking at getting one went to a dealer and on the test ride alone 2 of them broke down on me. The first one lost oil pressure and the seconded one it just die and they had no idea why. They did just come out with a new model with FI so it may be better tho.

My buddy's parents have one and love it. They have the carb'd one, put quite a few miles on it too w/ no problems.
