Hello from Portland
Hi my name is Dan. I signed up here because I have been in love with the new ninja since they were released and I hope to get one soon (actually im tossed up between the 250, ex500, suzuki gs500, and the sv650).
I actually had one reserved and a down payment made when they first came out but since I was a broke college student I decided it was worth while to wait and see how my finances would be after graduation. I had actually stopped thinking about bikes for awhile. This changed two weeks ago when I did my taxes and found out I was going to be getting over 3000 back. So once I get the money Im gonna start seriously looking for a bike. Ive found a few in the 3000-4000 range. Im hoping I can get one for a little less. Unfortunately almost everyone on craigslist that has this sweet little bike has it priced way over bluebook. I guess Ill just have to wait and see and hope that a good second gen shows up soon. |

I have a GS500E from 2002, it was my first bike and is still my only bike. It is great to learn on but has enough power to have fun on it when you get good. If you have any good routes out in Portland or anywhere really please post it on my online map at allstate insurance route or allstate insurance moto. I am an advocate for allstate and thus I am using their web pages for this. Thanks

Enjoy the forum and good luck in your hunt. The bike looks like a good price if all is well but only you can tell that.
