Steering Stem Nut Tool

I found a reasonably priced, quick shipped, domestic source for steering stem nut tools. They are 1/2" drive and fit the Ninja 250r/300 stem nut perfectly. The guy's name is Mike and he can be reached at ehcycledude@yahoo.com. Ask him for the steering stem nut tool for a Gold Wing GL 1800. He is asking $39 with priority shipping included. This tool makes taking apart and adjusting the steering stem nut a breeze.

nut tool . . .

Sometimes the wrench used for adjusting rear shocks can be a solution.

Neither the 250r or 300 shock adjustment tool worked on the stem nut. I am sure there is a shock tool out there that will work. I don't have one nor could I find one readily available.

I think the spanner wrench found at cycle gear works, but you've got this now and there's nothing wrong with perfect!

What you are looking for is a hook spanner wrench. Some are adjustable, some have pins, others have a "hook" and they come in various thicknesses.
Way less cost, too.
