Aprilia RS250 Project Complete.

Ninjitsu, just finished my Aprilia project. Some members have asked for pictures. Here is one fresh off the phone camera. Taking it to be inspected after work tomorrow, then it will be all nice and legal to scare the crap off larger capacity bikes in my hood..

Beautiful! I'm thinking about getting one later on too. Might just get a track only version though. How does it ride?

Looks good. Is that the Tyga street fairing kit? I really like the way that kit looks on the rs250's modernizes them a bit IMO.

I was hoping to snag an rs250 for a project and had been on the hunt for the right one for a couple of years but recently pulled the trigger on a 2 stroke beast of a different nature.

Congrats. enjoy it, now go burn some oil

It is one of those bikes that you want to sell as soon as you ride it in any kind of traffic. But then when the road opens up and you get it past 8000 rpm the worlds seems to become a better place all at once, the engine smooths out and the power just rushes in on a steady stream of smooth power that embodies the essence of motorcycling and you get vivid memories of racing with Angel Neito, Barry Sheene and Wayne Gardner on their 2 stroke legends. Then you hit traffic again and it is back to selling it.

Kinda like a love hate relationship with an extremely hot, but also extremely crazy girl.

Just to add to this a bit. My 300 Ninja with the ZX6R front end handles very similarly but does obviously not have the power that the Aprilia has. Any ride over 30 miles I will still take the Ninja any day of the week. If I had to choose between the two I would take the Ninja also. The 300 is like the great looking girl that is not crazy, can cook like no tomorrow and will even do the washing. You just can't beat it. I honestly ride it evn more than my Street Triple and it is still my favorite bike.

Another thing about a 300- Great looking girl that doesnt spend you into the poor house lol! It is not about expensive taste ... its about quality affordable taste lol.

How many girls are you dating any how.... it seems like you are speakin from experience.

That little two smoker is wicked. Feels like letting a Genie out of a bottle when you twist that throttle.
