Starting and riding on cold engine
What do i do when the bike is cold? i would start it with choke and leave it on choke for a while then ride off with it. I feel like its so jumpy and dangerous on choke so i rarely ride with it. what's the procedure? do i wait for it to warm up? am i suppose to wait? i dont want to rev my engine because its in the school parking lot. do you have any tips and tricks? leave one

just pull the choke towards you then press the button to turn on the bike.
if it isn't on then pull it more towards you. if you pull it all the way towards you and it still won't turn on then you have a carb problem. usually i let it sit for about 5 minutes til the temperature bar is in the middle then turn the choke off and let it idle for a minute then you are ready to ride.

There are many possible procedures and it is up to you to pick the one you like best. The "best" procedure is a topic of debate. I don't like it idling higher than 3k in the morning and I am impatient to wait for an idle warm up so for me it is:
Full choke to start, then half choke to 3k. Ride off immediately, periodically reducing choke (usually just a mm), targeting a 3k idle at stop lights. Repeat until the bike reads about 30% through temperature gauge. Then turn the choke completely off. If you feel the bike bog on take off, you've waited long enough, turn it completely off. It should not feel jumpy, rather it should feel as if your throttle starts at 3k rpm instead of 1500. You might have an overly rich air-fuel ratio situation?
