Hello from NJ

Hi guys.
I got my license 5 yrs ago but never had a chance to own a bike. I've been thinking a lot lately and decided it's time to get one. I'm currently shopping for an 08 250. Going to look at one tomorrow.
They are so rare around here, which make it hard to negotiate.
Anyhow, I'll come back and update on the bike soon. Hope it will not rain tomorrow.
Can't wait.

What up Jersey!! what area of jersey are your around? Take a look at the ninjette.org ride...a bunch of us are from the north east(I myself go to school at RU). Welcome to the forum...great bunch of people here

Nice mountains up in essex...bet theres some good riding. Might wanna re-think the sunday thing or atleast call the dealership as its Easter and they may not be open...if it rains tomorrow just go to the NYC auto show instead

it's still raining out. i'm sitting home thinking about the bike. OH, it's a private seller. I'll drive over to queens to look at it tomorrow.

Ok, I went to see the bike today.
It was dropped definitely.
she wants 3100.
there's a tiny crack on the left fairing and a tiny chip on the left rear plastic.
should I buy it? or wait?
need responses now..

Welcome to the boards! IMO, even if everything is cosmetic, I probably wouldn't go over $3k for a 250 that's already been dropped. Just what I think! Again, welcome!
