i have gone off road a couple of times to look at property, and did a couple of hurricane damage assessments(debris and mud everywhere). was real careful and didn't crash.

the tires are really not made for anything other than clean street,
the kickstand sinks too easy
a pain in the ass to clean the everything well afterwards.
low ground clearance limits paths you can take
bike weighs too much to push around easy

based on these aspects, i don't recommend it.

This was the initial request, which seemed (and still seems) reasonable:

But it has ranged from wildly entertaining to moderately annoying depending on the particular thread and its usage. Nobody uses the / functionality of it though, and perhaps that would add some diversity.

* Unregistered seems annoyed, for example.

Yes, I have used it many times in other threads in a more "appropriate" manner. Sure, it might be confusing to the newer members, but I believe it fits the theme of this site "friendlies 250 forum". After all, getting addressed by name is very personable but also makes it sting a bit more when used for "trolling" purposes.

And.... it's just fun. Laugh and smile a little each day. It's good for the soul.

I think I interpret the word "friendly" slightly different to you. Confusing and embarrassing new members and potentially making them feel excluded from the site isn't what I'd call friendly. I haven't seen you use the feature in that way, but that's how it's mostly used.

I can be serious sometimes! Nothing wrong with that.

Hey, we were using that! Welcome to the site, and there are just a few easter eggs along the way; the you tag is often one of the first to be noticed.

See, now the thing I love about the [ you ] tag is often its followed up by a "he" or "him". Immediately flags the sentence as not specifically addressed to me. Hahaha

On topic, nice to see there is some off-roading ability to our little ninjettes. Though they work so much better on hard pack dirt (just watch out for those rocks!).

^ that was interesting to say the least. He went down in that puddle... thats the worst, been there on a dirtbike that only weights half as much, at least he didn't go pipe side down could have gotten a lot more than he bargained for.

I can only imagine trying to ride that bike on that muddy trail, even having off road experience, his best bet would have been to just keep up speed and ride ruts.

i think we are both right, is it a dual? I don't know exactly what bike it is, I know there is a pipe on the right side you see it both times he goes down, but i thought i saw a glimpse of a pipe on other side. If that is the case it is even worse, the other higher exhaust allows air to escape while the other fills and gets to the engine.
