is it possible to buy Kawasaki gear sold in Europe ?
The current Kawasaki guide for Europe has some cool Ninja riding gear. Does anyone know if you can buy these things somewhere and have them shipped to USA ?

I would think so. Can you share some of the links to the gear?

Living in europe I can buy this stuff, if you like I may be able to help you out, if you let me know what you're after and where it's being sent to I could give you a price for the item plus shipping.

Looking on the Kawasaki UK site that would cost you $1205 without shipping, I don't think i'd be comfortable dealing with that amount of money with somebody I don't know "no offence", if it gets lost in the post or whatever I wouldn't fancy picking up the tab lol.
http://www.kawasaki.co.uk/Accessory/Details/340D3F77116 http://www.kawasaki.co.uk/Accessory/Details/3408A4A4CCE I'll tell you what to do though, don't order them from a UK dealer, they'll probably not remove VAT "sales tax" we don't have VAT or sales tax here, i'll add the site of the Kawasaki dealer here, Mac is a nice guy and i'm sure if you send him a nice email or phone them up which may be awkward due to time zones you may be able to work something out. http://kawasaki.macs-motorcycles.co.uk/ |

Would customs or extra fees come up? I've seen some online retailers in Italy that ship to the US for a fee but don't want any extra fees to come up later on when the package is at customs.

That would depend on your country / states laws, I can imagine youd be subject to pay sales tax or import duty, which would be your responsibility not the sellers.

I've been looking at leather suits on motostorm.it and it comes out to around $200 cheaper, but I don't want to get slapped with a $200+ customs fee later on. Oh noesssss.

On the customs declaration form they'll have to state the nature of the goods, the value etc.
What some people do to avoid import duties is to ask the seller to quote the value of the item a lot lower than it's actually worth or label it is a gift as you generally don't pay for gifts. I've never had any problems with sending stuff to my aunt in Pacific Palisades LA or my uncle in Clearmont FL |
