Front brake sensor maintenance?
My front brake sensor is not working , i tried jumping the wires and the brake light did lit up
Is it possible to open up the front brake sensor and service it from there or it must be replaced? |

You can take the switch apart just be careful that little springs and copper bits don't go flying. Might just be corroded or might be burned up.
I'd make sure first that the lever is pushing the switch in all the way. Use an Ohm meter to test the connectors.

Maybe the plunge of the switch is dirty and does nor fully slide freely: some kerosene may help with that, if applied externally before proceeding to surgery.
