Out of curiosity, what classes would an EX250 run on the program?

I can bring you a stock rear shock. 250 is good for 250 Production(Saturday and Sunday), Lightweight GP, Lightweight Endurance, and Colorado Class.

Once it's off...it doesn't go back on! I'd save that job for a bike you're only track riding from there on out. The belly pan wasn't a problem for me with the kickstand?

No, I have been riding A group with Trackaddix at MAM and MPH for a few years now, but I live in Rapid City South Dakota and HPR is the closest track 6 hours away.

If everyone that actually gridded up from round 1 comes out again plus the 5 from CVMA that would put us at a 27 bike grid.

You have to safety wire your bike and then complete a race class at the track day usually. @Peanut_EOD can you help him?

@cbinker - Depends on the org but plan for something like this;

Sign up for race clinic with the org of your choice - $50-$150 cost and includes the track day of the clinic event
Class time - for flags/boards, bike prep and review of race rules/procedures
Track time - to prove that you can actually ride, hold an line and be safe enough to mix it up close with other riders (may include a mock race and practice race starts)

At this point some clubs will let you race novice class right away, ie as the same day/weekend - Pay their membership fee $50-$100 and race lic fee of $50 to $100

WERA will let you race but as a provisional racer. You have to finish 2 races clean. NO CRASHES or your FAIL.

Good luck, racing is fun and you can get plenty of track time on race day.

Sure. Give Jeff Brown a call. He's our new racer director. He's the guy in charge of licensing. If nothing else he can direct you in the right direction. You should be able to find any other information you need on our website mra-racing.org
