I know a few heads in here already...
They got me looking into this whole ninja too fiddy racing biz.
If you got any tips on racing 'em (lean angles on the skinny azz tires, revv's) HOLLA!

I'm on a few other bikes right now.

racing begins when cvma starts back up...
I'll race my 1000 at race round 4 but round 5 i will have both on the grid.

I planned on racing them all. It just didn't work out. I did round 1, wrecked in round 2, didn't have the bike ready for round 3, and got sent to Alaska for round 4. Hopefully I will make it for rounds 5 and 6. We'll see where my work sends me next.

I was in the right place but the sub-title and title didn't really mention sales of complete bikes. Also mostly parts in there as well... guess it's a good thing no one is selling these bikes, must be bullet proof

No matter, can't post in there anyway! haha

Welcome dude, the 250s are way fun (and REALLY cheap) to race. If you want to see what mods you need for a race bike, check out my build thread or just read around this section a bit. There's only so much to do on a 250 thats worth it and can't be made up for by balls. Basically all the bikes on grid are identical since theres pretty much a performance cap that you reach once you've run outta bolt-on mods, which is pretty quick.

If you buy xtian's bike ($3300?) basically a set of good tires (~$250) will last you a half season, so all you got is race entry/gas/oil changes for costs. That could be a FULL season of 250 racing for under $4k. Good luck finding a decent SV at that cost!
