Installed Intuitive Frame Sliders!

This is my first thread on this site and I thought I would share some pics after I installed the new frame sliders. Here they are......

Bike on the rear stand:

Making sure everything is aligned correctly with the use of a 3/16 drill bit that's 12 inches in length:

Ready to put the fairings back on:

Cool!!

I assume that you went by the DIY. Did you have any "issues" getting it done?

Thank you!

I did follow the DIY, but that did not mention how to align everything up. Once you mentioned to use the drill bit trick, everything went smoothly.

Well thank you. I would strongly suggest going out and purchasing the 5.00 drill bit because it will pay for itself while doing the install. Good luck with everything tomorrow!

...wouldn't you be able to accomplish the same thing using a long Phillips screwdriver?

welcome to the board, Nick.

Yes, anything that's 12 inches or longer would do the trick. I did not want to bother with a screwdriver because the handle might get in the way.......just my opinion though.

jus givin ya' a hard time... you'll find a friendly (?) rivalry of bike colors on this forum, brought on by the others not knowing that green is the fastest color of them all.

yeah, everyone does... it's also well known it needs that 7th gear just to keep up with the other colors... and it almost does.

yeah, cept' mine never looks that way, even after I clean it.

welcome to the board... post up a short intro thread in the new members section when you feel comfy so everyone can meet and greet you. it's always great to be able to add good new forum members to the board. that your first posts here were about helping others is a positive sign.

HaHa, that's alright. A garage is a garage......it's not suppose to be that clean.

I will definitely post something in the new members section. Thank you for reminding me to do that!
