808 key chain camera, guessing your probably want it setup to record over top old footage after some time.

As for night vision, just add a couple of IR leds.

@splitfire does it have a screen on the back to view footage before downloading? If so than that's a good buy.

Keep in mind, that LCD display is going to be powered off your bike's battery. I'd solder in a little toggle switch to turn it on and off if possible.

Chinese knockoff
Splitfire, I am right there with ya, although I'm not going to drop $400 on a gopro. So I've been looking about and found this on an ordering app I've used before. The app is called Wish; I've ordered multiple things and haven't really had an issue. I know the quality of this camera is not going to be gopro quality (hence the difference of $17 to $400). Figured I would give it a try and as long as it isn't 1990's web cam quality then it would work for me. (Note many reviews state some of the connectors and the case do not come with it.)

For less than $50 you're not going to find anything close to quality with night vision, just not going to happen.
But two good cheap cameras that have decent night time, and very nice daytime quality, I recommend a Winbook Acton camera, or even the newer sj4000 knockoff are very capable devices. I'm actually going to add the sj4000 knockoff this week. I use the Winbook camera daily, and an 808 camera as a rearward facing that sits on the rear fairing. The Winbook is about $40, the 808 I got for $3.66, yes, $3.66, shipped from China, And the sj4000 knockoff I got for $19 shipped from China. |

I use those 808's on the track. Cool little cams for the $$.
