Added a 99' Harley XL1200C Sportster to the stable!

So I've been wanting to have a cruiser to add to the stables for a while now (I know I'm getting old...lol). One of my coworkers was selling his bike because he is a fair weather rider and never rides it. It's a 99' XL1200C Sportster. I'm sure it has tons of aftermarket... I just don't know anything about them. It looks good and it's fun to ride! Here is a teaser... I'll get better pics later!

Nice ride. It's a completely different life when cruising.

Gratz, that is what I had before making the switch to sport bikes. Enjoy!

Thanks all!!! It's a really good looking bike and is really comfortable! I'm currently returning my 250 to stock in hopes to sell it... so I probably won't be riding it more than this...lol.

It's a toss up though... I still love riding my 636, it's insanely powerful and fun to ride through the twisties. The main reason I wanted to get this too is that the "club" through work (Marine Corps makes it mandatory to attend regular meetings and rides for all individuals with an M1 on their license) does a lot of longer freeway rides. Really boring for a sport bike and not very comfortable either. I've wanted to have a cruiser for that purpose for a while now. The opportunity presented itself and I jumped on it!

Now I just have to sell the 250 so that my wife doesn't make me sleep in the garage with my now 3 bikes

Is there something wrong with that?

I suppose not... at least in some ways... but it's much warmer in the house and it's uncomfortable to make love to the bikes

So I finally got around to taking some up to date pictures of the Harley:

There are some things I'd like to do to it, I'm not as familiar with these bikes so my list is a bit shorter. I'd like to add some saddle bags, and maybe get some 16" apes. When I replace the tires I'm going to go with white walls. Other than that I'm gonna pretty much leave it as is. Maybe black out some of the chrome... haven't decided on that one yet.

Anyway, as always I appreciate any criticism, or ideas!
