Motorcycle Maintenance Book?
I'm looking for a good general book on motorcycle maintenance and technology. I have the Kawasaki Manual for my ninja and I've used Clymer manuals with other bikes, but I'm really looking for a motorcycling equivalent of John Muir's classic "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive." Just trying to learn a little more about ninja innards and how they tick.

Get the factory service manual from Kawasaki. They're usually around $40. Your dealer will have one or can order one. It will tell you everything you need to know to tear the bike into every nut and bolt and put it all back together correctly. Nobody knows better than the people that built the bike.
Other than that I've never heard of a book about the Ninja 250. You can find a lot of info about the bike at the site linked below. http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Ninja250_Howto |
