Purchased used ninja... what now?

Hi everyone, I just recently purchased a 2010 Ninja 250r with 3,400 miles on it. This is my first motorcycle, so I am a complete newb, but I've ridden it the past few evenings after work and overall it is in great shape and runs beautifully. But at the same time, I want to "reset" the service of the bike since I don't have the maintenance history. For all I know the last oil change was 100 miles ago, or 1,000 miles ago.

What would you suggest I have done to the bike? I was thinking of changing all the oil and fluids (coolant, brake fluid, anything else?) and having the chain and sprocket checked, cleaned and lubed. I'm not too concerned about having a major inspection such as engine or transmission unless someone here recommends it. But is there anything else i should maybe have done? Also, how much should I expect to pay for service? I know a lot of you guys are do-it-yourselfers, but I'm honestly not very mechanically inclined and I have limited garage space and tools. Maybe down the road I can pick up a few things here or there, but I don't want to be tinkering with the bike on my own at this stage.

im no mechanic either so I have the kawasaki dealer do all my work.

maint is due every 4k miles is what they say, the first 4k one i think all they do is tighten bolts, grease cables, lube chain and change oil i believe. I think that one was like in 300-ish area but I cant really remember( my carb was also gummed up from winter storage and they cleaned my carb too). my '10 has like 5k something and ive only had one service done.

usually when i get a new bike i take it to the dealer and just have a safety inspection done. just for my piece of mind.

Start buying parts for to make it your own.

Oil & filter change, clean, lube & adjust chain, check coolant level, flush brake fluid, visual inspection of brake rotors & pad thickness, check tire pressure & tread depth.

Basically, find a service manual or DIY and do the 600 mile service yourself. It's quick and easy and well worth your time to get to know your bike.

Tire pressure and tread wear I check myself. What should I reasonably expect a dealer to charge for the rest?

I have no idea what dealers charge, as I do all this stuff myself. Call around to your closest dealers, and call a few independent shops as well....it's nothing a non-Kawasaki shop can't handle and you may get a better price.
