Hello from IL
hey, whas up....been lurking here for a cpl days seems like a great group of people. the main reason i am here is my brother just bought a Red 2009 250R (as of yesterday 06-16-09) it had 2 miles on it and its his first bike and first time on a bike and he loves it and i am gonna ride it alot also, i put 50 miles on it last nite after he bought it lol and its a fun little bike but WAY under powerd but still a blast to ride. but like i said im here to lurke and just read about the bike so if he wants to do anything to it i know how since he wont care to look into it and research it and since im car and bike CRAZY!!! i will and will do most of the mods to his 250

Welcome Randy
Tell your brother to join too. Maybe after he reads some diy he will see how easy and fun it is to mod the bike. |

thank you for the warm welcome and i think once we do the 1st mod (undertail) he will get the mod bug and will want to do more then i can get him on here, but idk he isnt the forum type of guy like i am i live by them lol i have been on a forum for every car i have ownd and lurke the ones i am thinking about getting, but i hope to learn more and maybe make his a tad faster or just more custom hope they start making parts for in the US or avail to the US but main things he wants is just frame sliders, tank bag, undertail....just simple stuff since you wont get much power out of them and dont want to lose reliabilty

welcome! If you haven't already, be sure to look at the wiki as well since some of the DIY threads are slowly being copied over and combined/improved there

Welcome Randy! Always nice to see more Ninjettes in Illinois... and get your bro on the forum! I'm sure he'll enjoy the company. Maybe it will get him interested in doing some of his own wrenching too...
