New from hawaii

hows it goin everybody!!! im on oahu attending UHM. i just completed the MSF course and passed the written and riding exams with 100%!

i actually took it and was in the same group as gorilla25. the course was fun though. for sure.
anyways.. i am a new owner of a 04 ex250f. ive been riding for about a month now.

i rode bicycles all my life. down hill mountain biking, freestyle, and now i ride a 700c fixie. i just sold my truck on kauai and needed something reliable and affordable. i figure since im always riding a bike(riding a road bike in town is almost or may be just as dangerous as a moped...and at low speeds 30mph and lower, maybe even a street bike) you are faced with similar risks if caught up in an unfortunate situation in the street....and since a streetbike can go on the freeway (if i ever needed to), i would be able to commute.
and plus it requires similar skills and awareness on the road as a bicycle..

im still learning and getting used to riding. it is slowly becoming second nature and i am always down for riding tips/advice. for sure.

but yeah, im stoked to be a new member of this community!!!

kkim- yup... fellow kauaiian over here. lol. man, 26 years is a long time. .. i miss kauai, but it is home and will always be there for when im done with school.
