Unfortunately that's mostly from the previous owner. I just got her late last year, got her running in December and started riding in Jan '13. Bought at 27,xxx. When I pulled up to work this am I'm around 31,500. I absolutely love the bike though, hands down the best bike I've owned so far.

My last bike was purchased in '08 w/ 15,xxx miles and I just sold it about a month ago with a little over 30,xxx. That was a Honda VT1100C2. What can I say, Honda makes a good engine! Both of these are/were '90s bikes and they just keep on tickin'.

Here I am w/ my buddys Ninja... just to get back on track a little!

I generally refer to my bike as saki, sometimes the top gun bike (as a joke - yes I know that's not technically accurate), sometimes frankenstein slut

First there was...

First there was Sheila, the calm, rock solid 250. Then Sasha, a 250 strong and ready for war.

Now meet Misty, fierce and bad as a mother

Actually, there is a separate noun for a male cat in Russian. "Кошка" ("koshka") for female cat and "кот" ("kot", duh) for male, so your example is not the best. Not all nouns in Russian are "locked into a specific gender", many locked only when the gender is unknown/doesn't matter or there is a whole group of mixed/unknown gender.

Bluebird - because it's blue, because bluebird is a symbol of happiness and cheer and I have a biggest grin when I'm riding or even thinking of riding it, and because riding motorcycle is the closest thing to flying.

My nickname has been Ducky for years now, with all variants like Duckster, Duck, and of course Duckman. So all my cars have been referred to as the Duckmobile and it was natural that my bright yellow pregen ninja be called the Duck-cycle.

As I was pushing my newly acquired Ninja up the ramp into the back of my truck, I already knew she was to be called Caboose.

I have only named one vehicle before this Ninja. I used to have a 1981 Yamaha DT175. I named her Nathlie.

I just picked Caboose up yesterday. I will post a few picks of her in her current state soon.

Sasha was honestly the only name of a girl that I hadn't met yet. I didn't want to associate it with anyone I knew. So, I named it Sasha.

I have 3 bikes all are as different in personality as in color. I know this is a Ninja 250 web site but equal time for each of my kids please My First bike is My Ducati 999s which i usually refer to as Duke (way original I know) but i would have to say her proper name is Beast! She will bite if you dont respect her. I would love to past a 25 second video to show how she bites but i dont know how. My second Bike is my SV 650 which i bought to ride when the Beast is too much. Her/His name is Sterling because it is silver (DUH) but when i got Sterling i had to do major repair/rebuild and the whole time we watched ARCHER on NetFlix thus the name Sterling. The last but certainly not least bike is Our 2012 Ninja 250R which i am still waiting on my wife to give her a name. She is the primary pilot and it would not be fair for me to name her but i do call her (bike) smiles because even after riding the Beast that little ninja makes me smile

The first picture is all our bikes now
Second Pic is sterling before the rebuild
