Advice on this 250R
http://performancecycleokc.com/new_v...69&pov=1798910
I'm 28. I had a 1997 Ninja 250r when I was 17. I think its time to ride again. I found this bike at a local dealer for $3500. I really like it. I've been hunting to find another one like it and I haven't found anything. I'm actually a pretty big fan of Monster Energy drinks so unlike a lot of people on here I really like the big M. Does anyone have any information on these decals? One of them is a little ripped so I would want to replace it. Also it has 1100 miles, any tips on things I should look at it to make sure it was cared for properly? One more question. Has anyone used this on there helmet? http://www.skullskins.net/DefaultMain.asp I really want the incredible hulk one. I figure I can get a really good helmet with no design and I can use this skill skin. Just wondering if the visor is really 100% see through. Oh and one more thing! I've been looking at the DIY stuff and it took me to a website with some sweet neon green halo headlights. Anyone install these and think they are worth the $100? Thank you! SapperBo |

Bo - you need to start threads in the appropriate areas, separate threads for each separate topic, and you'll likely get plenty of helpful responses. This area is just for introductions.
Also make sure to check out the search functionality on the site, there's plenty here to check out that may already address what you're looking for...

Get the OTD (out the door) price which will include all the fees. Are you getting it financed or paying it straight out? If you have cash, you can get them cheaper (tried craigslist?). $3500 is actually not bad if that's the OTD price.

Re
Yes that was the out the door price. I am still looking around. I'm using the second part of my Army Bonus to buy it and I don't get that until sept 21st, so this bike probably won't be there by then! Around OKC they are extremely hard to find. Even new you have to put 500 down and wait 4 months for one.
