Dainese two piece for 1/4 the cost

I got a very lightly used Dianese two piece suit in blue, black and white from @lgk who got it from someone on here and who got it from someone else... The suit is in GREAT shape. Worn only a few times, and you can tell. Unfortunately I cannot fit into it, I thought I could and got it, and now that I tried it on I realized I cannot. Its a size 48. Please look at their sizing chart http://www.revzilla.com/dainese-size-chart#184 I should have looked at it better. Just asking what I got it from Jason for. $250 shipped.

Im super disappointed and honestly wish I could just fit in it... My shoulders are to broad for the jacket, and Im to fat for the pants.

"Too broad" and "too fat"?

Dainese is sized in Euro so that's a 48euro 38US. That's just a suit for a pretty small dude! Don't feel bad

it was the first dianese leather i had my hands on.
i was impressed by the craftmanship of the jacket and the softness of the leather itself.

there's no hype, the dianese quality is real.

get your girlfriend to measure you, and message massacre.
make sure you get chest, shoulder to crotch, waist, and arm length measured.

if the suit fits, you save $750 bucks.

Just to put a little perspective, I wear a size 50euro Dainese two piece suit. I'm 6' 165lbs average build. My size 50 is perfectly snug, I wouldn't go any smaller for my size.

Hope this helps any potential buyers.

Hey thanks me too! The funny thing is it's not even taken by the official photographer that weekend, just another guy with a camera.

Absolutely! I've crashed my Dainese suit twice at the track and it still has plenty of life in it. I can't imagine wearing a different kind of suit right now. These things are the real deal. SOMEBODY BUY JUSTIN'S SUIT!

I *might* fit that. I'm a small guy. Right now I'm wearing size 32 AGVSport Willow pants and they fit just right (size charts says up to 33 for these, and the Dianese race suit size chart says the same).

Is it perforated? Can't tell from the photos.

Yes, the black areas around the shoulders, arms, crotch and behind the knees are breathable areas. And if they are anything like A*, S&S and the like, they will do very well. To the point of being cool/cold in cooler temps.

I fit into a medium A* jacket perfectly. Would be a close to perfect fit.

It's a size 38 US???? F the color, I'm interested. Where's an official sizing chart? I'm a skinny tall dude.

EDIT: still maybe too fat for me... I need to just try some gear on. Seriously.

In the first post chone. Well not official but good enough.

It should be similar sizing to the one you borrowed from me.

Honestly, I'm waiting on school to be done. I never got around to it last summer, and the closest place that actually carries leathers is about 2 hours from home. Now consider than I'm over 2 hours away the opposite direction when I'm at school and I work as much as possible over breaks, and I don't have transportation when I'm on campus, and it doesn't bode well for someone wanting to try suits on in a store.

I've been more busy with school/fraternity/internship stuff since Jan. than before, so I've put aside the leathers till summer. Freaking stupid f****** companies never ever contact back, so all I end up doing is leaving messages and emails and whatnot, and don't get any summer internships. So basically I'm still looking for leathers, but on a smaller budget than I was hoping.

I think I might head over to the local Cycle Gear and see if I can find a size 48 Dianese jacket to try on. If it zips up without causing me to burst a blood vessel I might go for it.

Just measure my chest and shoulder width - I'm 40" and 19.5" respectively! If I read the sizing chart correctly, it's about a 38" chest

hahahaha. Dude it does look cool but I really want pants and boots to start riding more aggressively on the twisties with my buddies!

Also SALE PENDING

to a dude on another forum. If he falls through @adouglas is next in line. if he still wants it by then

or if @alex.s can find someone to pawn the jacket off so he can take the pants.

i'm a skinny guy for sure. 5'8", 135 lbs. I've got some broad shoulders though, most people think I weigh 150ish.

Runner, rock climber, snowboarder, surfer, hiker, etc. There's not a week that goes by that I'm not over-exerting myself physically. my vacations are to the mountains in the winter to snowboard (and I earn my turns, hiking in the backcountry), or to the beach in the summer to surf.

Lmao now you know what I'm going through haha. I just interviewed with a company and they never respond to my messages. Try calling places really early, like when they first get in. That helps sometimes, if they give you a good number (which a lot of the time they won't).

Hope it fits him! He seems really cool! Ill be sad if it doesnt. Length wise another inch didnt look to be a problem. Its my shoulders and thighs that were an issue. Although the jacket did seem shorter than most jackets. Is that normal? It was right at my belly.

their jackets fit a little high compared to touring jackets.

Dude I've been at this since December. I've interviewed two places. I've emailed and called 7 places. Only 2 have responded; the ones I interviewed with. Then one of them gave be some bull about 'oh we never got any of your 6 emails over the last 3 months that consisted of your thank you letter and updates, which is exactly what you were supposed to do'. Dumb.

To add insult to injury, by buddy who does nothing but sit around and drink chatted with a friend of his dad's for 5 minutes and they offered him a job. He didn't even start his search until Saturday of last weekend.

It's absolute poppycock. I started looking for within 45 minutes of home. At this point, I'll pack up and move anywhere for the summer if it means I'll get a relevant job.
