Heated Handlebar Grips!!!

Will these work on our bikes w/o mods to the bikes electrical system?

http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade...view/4613/704/

Us in Michigan could use these!

It wires to the battery, but would the 250 have enuff Power to use these while riding and with your Headlights -Also Highbeams on-? If you have HID headlights (35w) would it be enuff power saved Vs the stock headlights, to install this w/o having to totally mod the bikes electronics?

Just an aside, I rode a BMW with heated grips on a cold day this past weekend and they now haunt my dreams. What an exquisite pleasure they are! I was wearing summer gloves and my hands were toasty!

Next to the 15 tooth countershaft sprocket, headed grips are the nicest feature I added to my bike. I ride with Lee Parks gloves year round and have yet to feel cold on my 30 minute commute, no matter what the weather. Best $35 I ever spent. The drain from the heaters is a non issue unless you like to sit for hours in the garage with the engine not running and the grip heaters turned on. Be sure to wire the grips to a switched power source or you will forget and run the battery down by leaving them on. I installed the Symtec heaters so I could run the grip of my choice. I'm assuming the grips under discussion draw aprox the same wattage. I use my heaters all the time on cool mornings and just after the sun goes down even in the summer.

Cool thanks Sam!

If you didnt read the link i had in OP, the heated grips are 48 watts.

Last Oct. when i went to the BMW event, i was able to Demo ride a GS650, and boy oh boy did i dig the factory stock Heated grips on that!
They cooked my hands towards the end of the demo ride. I had to turn em down to low setting!

Sweet then I will be getting some heated grips for my bike later this year, afew weeks b4 the cold Michigan weather starts setting in!

Next thing ill have to add, is a 12V Cig lighter, to plug in my Cell phone to charge up in case my phone dies while on a trip, or if i can save up to get a GPS unit!
