Question Thoughts???

Im wondering if running with the black plastic section under my seat gone will cause any issues. I think it looks better and prolly gets more air intake. Im running the K&N Pods. The air filter is oiled so I shouldnt worry about rain but I want your opinions.

Thanks

Whatever floats your boat. I am not feeling it honestly. My R6 is missing those same pieces and I don't like the grip the slick feel of the tank gives.

It shouldn't be a problem, I've ridden the bike even completely naked before, just the seat and the gas tank on it. It just may feel a little strange on that side, like more pressure on your leg from your seat. Other than that everything (with a possible exception of a slight sound difference) should be about the same

I'm definitely not a design guru, but couldn't allowing air to rush by that hole on both sides actually cause a vacuum in that spot?

I thought it was running a little different with them off but then I thought that it was just in my head. Great question though. Thats what I'm looking for.
