have fun with it!

$1,200 isn't bad. Does it have good tires?

Does that stuff really make a difference?

I've been considering getting some stompgrip for a while, which does the same thing but I'm not 100% sure it's worth it.

Nice bike. My first trackbike was a 2000 R6. Great bikes and very good price.

Your a tad crossed up, but not much more than some I commonly see at track days. Keep at it, it's got nowhere to go but up.

why would you not have sliders on if you're going for knee down though?

It was really hard to get the knee down as I was fighting the front as it was trying to tuck in. I notice its far harder to lean so far at slower speeds.

So why is it I can hit the edge of the tire on the left turn but not even close going right?
So the right side is tore up from the last owner. As you can see I can clean off the left side but the right I still have a half inch

I had the same problem, then I realized that I had only ever practiced my bp stationary on the left side since that's where the kickstand is. After practicing my right side bp by using a rear-stand I felt a lot more comfortable on that side. That said I still can't get the bar grip right on the right side since my hand naturally wants to stay farther up on the bar so I can twist the throttle more naturally. This causes me to twist my wrist awkwardly and makes my right hand corners worse than my lefts. Still need to iron that habit out, did it on the 250 but it came back on the gsxr.

naturally it could be something else entirely but this is why I experienced the same issue.

well if you're using the same technique and leaning less on the right then that makes sense that you would only crash on the left. Because you're taking a higher degree of risk on the left if that is the case.

lean = risk. The more lean, the more precise you have to be.
