Main Fuse (30a) blows when attaching rectifier

working in an 08. I have tried 3 different wire looms, 3 different rectifiers, and 2 solenoids. I keep having the same issue. The main fuse blows every time I attach the rectifier. I have searched online and can't find anyone with this issue. I'll give some more details:

Ignition switch is disconnected
All components are disconnected.
No blown fuses in junction box.
Without rectifier all components will work (tested power by attached rear light and ignition switch turned on with working fuse, and jumped the solenoid to ensure starter spun)

I unhooked everything except power to solenoid. No problems until attaching the rectifier then immediately the fuse blows. I have looked and see no frayed spots that would cause a short in any loom. I know that the current loom and rectifier are good as I just pulled them from a fully functional bike.

Any ideas at this point are greatly appreciated.

Update: I'm not smart

So it turns out I'm a genius and broke the oldest rule in the book. Somehow I reversed the battery connection and didn't realize at first because the circuit was complete and getting power to external parts. (Bike is torn completely down to just frame, block, forks, rear suspension, so made it less obvious that I screwed up.)

Good News: Seems I didn't do much damage. Tested battery and even after some draining, I'm still at 12.3V at rest. Also tested the diodes on all rectifiers and seems that since the fuse kept blowing it didn't get reversed power to the diodes and didn't burn out the rectifiers.

Any other issues I should worry about at this point before I begin reassembly?

Welcome Cole! You're luckier than a few here who have made the same error.
