Body Panels
Are the colored pieces easy to buy and replace by myself? Where can I go?
I am looking to buy a used 2008 that's been dropped for cheap and just change out the panels. Any insights will be greatly appreciated. |

Are you planning to replace them with OEM Kawasaki parts or aftermarket bodywork?

Either or. Most likely OEM though.

I would recommend OEM for a street bike. You can order the parts/panels from any dealer who sells OEM parts. They come prepainted and you include the color when you place the order for the parts.
My suggestion is to try to find them used on eBay as they are quite pricey new from the dealer. Perhaps others will add to this thread with suggestions of the best/cheapest places to get new, OEM parts, or you could try doing a search as I have seen some suggestions on places to get parts from. |

If it's been dropped, then probably one side will need to be replaced. So roughly how much it would cost to get it at the dealer? Is it easy to remove and then intall the panels? Anyone has done this before?

kawasakipartsnation.com. ive used them a lot, a little cheaper than the dealerships near me, and paint matches up great. oem parts.
though ive gotten many parts off ebay for super super cheap, just be careful and check the rating of the seller
