I did it again.... (on highway 9....)

Link to original page on YouTube.

Thankfully my leg didn't break because it's already been reinforced with titanium

He did it to you ! ! !

The cager intentionally blocked you from passing on the double yellow line. Watch his front tire go over the yellow line to screw you over. Sue him for attempted murder. He deliberately blocked your path knowing you're attempting to pass. Use the video in court. He baited you by moving to the right. See his right tire track going over the yellow line on the right side near the berm like a subtle "go ahead and pass me", and when you did, he got you good. Ride smart, ride safe.

Yea I hate wearing gloves, they interfere with my ability to brake, accelerate and operate the clutch. Gloves slow all your movements down and will cause you to crash

This video made me laugh out loud (I keep replaying it), especially the ending where he was all like, "Hahaha... what the ****?!?!" Agree with Gurk, both are idiots and that was definitely avoidable. Also, LMFAO @ Memengkamatis. SO MUCH FAIL IN THIS THREAD, that it's hilarious.

Believe it or not, someone actually said that here and really meant it.

If people did not assume that the car was pulling over to let them go rather than holding them back at their pace they would have realized that the car's pace was so much slower at that point (unreasonably so) that it only made sense that they were lost or unsure of their direction and would be very likely to turn around/turn out. The car was probably making room for a U-turn and not just pulling over in the area to the left.

Assumptions can kill you.

if the car planned on turning around, they should have signaled, but regardless it's the bikes fault for passing with a double yellow.

Yep, but I don't think the car driver even knew what he/she was doing at that point and the biker didn't pick up on the clues. In hindsight, the car driver was obviously indecisive, but recognizing that is foresight for the next time.

Wow, that is awful!
My mom lives just off of highway 9 and I grew up there and know what d-bags the residents can be so I refuse to ride up there to visit. She can come here.
9 has some fantastic twisties but it just isn't worth the risk to me. Good luck taking that fool to court, jigs. Hope the recovery is fast.

Seems obvious, in hindsight, that the driver was attempting to do an illegal u-turn without signalling. The fact that he pulled to the very edge of the right side of the road with no signals easily could have meant he had car trouble or was simply pulling to the side of the road for w/e reason. Lane splitting is legal there and the rider didn't cross the double yellow until he tried dodging the car so it's certainly not the riders fault, he even slowed way down before passing the car. Hopefully the cop at 0:22 got there quick.

A turn signal would have prevented the whole thing.
