Tell them racer discount puts the track day at $100. Compared to the norcal tracks that's pocket change

Nrs is free and gets you the $100 price discount. You just have to be in a group and wear the nooby vest

NRS is free? For who? Not for me.... Or any one else that's ever taken it. Why would they want to do NRS on a new track for the first time?

If you are riding at the track, you can take Nrs for free. If you sign up for Nrs you get the racer discount. His buddies are supposed to be good so Nrs should be no problem for them.

You realize Nrs is just classroom sessions where they talk about race procedures... Not teach you how to go fast.

pretty much. they go over entrance, gridding, start proceedures, mechanical failure procedures, crash proceedures, flags (though honestly, i only remember the basic ones... green, yellow, red, black, and the weird "you gettin passed, son" flag. i guess theres also you know cris cross white and black for half way or whatever and white flag for the last lap. i guess the checker flag might be good to know too :P exit proceedures. etc etc. though its taught by stu-man, who is really an amazing rider and teacher. i think he taught for the code school for awhile. hes super open and will answer any questions you have about pretty much anything. its funny as part of the course he tells you hes going to close pass you to get you used to it, you know since you close pass in racing all the time. hollllyshit he wasnt kidding. LOL mid corner fully leaned over closing in on the apex and .... oh, theres stuman! hiiii stuman!.... oh hes really going fast... byeeee stumannnn!!!!

Sounds about like what I went through when I went to "race school". My buddy was expecting so much more and I was a little but I was somewhat forewarned. They then threw us out for our first mock race. Lol, there wasn't much mock about it aside of it being less laps.
Hot lap, 3,2,1 sideways 1 boards, green flag. I wheelied the start and the field was a cluster f*ck going into turn 1. hahahahah I was just happy to not place last considering I was the only 250 on the grid in a field of 17. 2 crashes and I passed 3 others. I was never so skeered in my life in the close corner passes. And yea, the leader lapped me.

they take returns on suits that have damage. their return policy is, if you are not satisfied with the way a product performs, you can return it. its a dick move, but they will take it.

And if you want a track out in the middle of the freaking desert, try Reno Fernley Raceway. LOL

I found it's mostly where your weight is that determines the size. Revzilla has a good selection of sizing charts for different brands that should help get you in the right area.
