Hard locking luggage - newgen (2008-2011)

Price dropped to $250.

I'm selling the entire luggage setup I have, sidecases mounted on custom made brackets, topcase mounted on rear seat pan (both with locking keys), mounting hardware and all required brackets. The only items you would need will be to reuse your existing footpeg bracket bolts (2 of them), one for the exhaust hanger top mount on the right and one for the left sidecase bracket mount.

Here is what is included:

Exhaust hanger:

Here are some pics of this setup on my bike...

I made this custom setup and posted the entire process in my post HERE.

$250 plus shipping to Cont US only, no PO Boxes.
Email me at jstyck@gmail.com, send me a PM on here or post up below with any questions.

Thanks,
James

Nice! Someone is going to benefit greatly from the work you put into this. Good luck with the sale.

Damn! Sweet deal. If I was going cross country on the Ninjette I would jump on this deal. Can the top box hold a helmet and close?

Just wanted to mention that if you decide to possibly keep the sidecases, the E41's use the same monokey lock system that the E21's use. If you make a bracket system with the quicklocks, you could use both and swap back and forth. It's something i'm considering since the E41's are the same price as V35's. Might be worth looking into.

Yes, good deal for someone in the market that wouldn't have to build it from scratch. Unfortunately the top box does not hold a full face helmet.

Hey man, no not really. I have been busy with online school, BJJ/Muay Thai training, school starting for the kids, etc. I did get some PM's and emails on the luggage but I'm not accepting lowball offers. I dropped the bottom line price which is basically just covering the parts. If I don't sell I will put em back on for a bit before working on the other project, it's not biggie as it's not a have to just figured another project would be fun and I love the storage. Like you said the best case scenario to me would be having the E21's for every day use and then putting the V35's on for longer trips, overnights, camping, etc.

I got some rapid transit saddlebags for my ninja right before my 500 mile GA/TN trip. This is a really good deal for someone out there. Just softside saddlebags are in the $80/150 range...so for locking hardcases mounted and ready to go...this is a pretty good deal. You'll end up spending that much anyway, and you'll have to mount them yourself.

I can tell you this...saddlebags are SO convienient if you are doing any long distance trip. Between the saddlebags and my tankbag, it sure made it a great trip.

Also, its really hard to find bags that dont hit the exhaust, or dont come to close to it.

Well I recommend getting the E41's instead since they use the same lock as the E21's. If you take one of our other mounts that uses a quicklock and mount it on your bike, you've got one awesome setup.

I also agree with the lowballing. It's $200 minimal for the sidecases and anywhere between $75-$100 for the topcase so your price is definitely not too much to ask especially considering all the R&D you had to put into it to get it all mounted.

I think NathanF might get some of the kinks of the undertail mount worked out so give it some time and maybe there will be a better blueprint to follow.

Goodluck.
